The coffee is not too strong, too bitter or too weak. CircleK apparently decided that it needed to up its coffee game. On a recent visit to a Circle K I was greeted by a new coffee brewing setup. Shiny and new with hoppers of fresh beans sitting on top the sign promised fresh ground, fresh brewed coffee. The setup looked designed to attract millennials. But, no matter as long as it brewed delicious coffee what did I care? The machine did stop to ask me if I wanted to leave room for cream so in the future I can probably add the Half and Half first.
After answering the questions about which beans I wanted CircleK House Blend and the size of my cup large the machine was off and running. One could hear the coffee being ground and then the whir and hiss of hot water being pushed through the grounds. Soon I was presented with a freshly ground, freshly brewed cup of coffee.
It was my first cup. But for now I will keep frequenting the stores that still have the older brewing machines.
Total disagree! I think taste much fresher and delicious.
Refill a Used K-Cup With Your Own Ground Coffee
Easy to use. Better than before for sure!!! Hard to say. The new machines brew a mediocre cup of coffee that is not as good as a fresh cup of the old style and on par of a stale cup of the old style. I like half caff coffee and there is no way to make it with the new setup. I went ahead and tried the regular coffee, but it was terrible! Very bitter. It seems to vary store to store.
The red x at the bottom of the screen stops the brewing cycle you then pick the next flavor and continue to make your half caf. You can always stop the cycle pressing the RED X then select the other to mix the way you like.
I like mine coffee strong and the current machine allows for that. It is perfect coffee for me. The new coffee machines make terrible coffee. Microwave brew. Tasteless and scorching hot. My cup practically melted in my hand and it scalded the cream I added. These people who say different must be mistaken.
Circle K Gas Stations
I bet their coffee sales are down precipitously. I think it is the best coffee around fresh brewed every cup,no burned taste [from setting in the pot to long no waiting for a full pot to fill up] its the best of both worlds in less than a minute. This company is not yet accredited.

I stopped at pump 6. I walked in the store to use the restroom. I then went to the coolers and chose an 89 cent package of string cheese to buy for a snack. I then went to the counter to pay for my snack and to put the gas in my car using my cash miles card that had fourteen dollars on it.
I paid for the gas using my miles cash card and then put the string cheese purchase on my debit card. I went out to pump the gas. The pump did not show that my fourteen dollars had even been put on the pump. I went back inside the store to see what the issue was. The lady that had rung me up for both transactions was not able to find my transaction for the gas. She was only able to find the transaction for the string cheese. She was an assistant manager. I told her to take the customer behind me so that she would not have to wait.
The customer saw me starting to cry because the assistant manager had told me that there was nothing she could do about my fourteen dollars being missing. The customer paid for my gas out of the kindness of her heart because of what the assistant manager had told me. I felt so humiliated! The assistant manager just shrugged her shoulders and said again that there was nothing she could do. So, I went outside to pump the gas that the customer paid for. After pumping it, I went back in to ask the assistant manager for the miles cash card back.
She gave it to me and told that the card had a zero balance still. She also told me that both pump numbers 5 and 6 had been "acting up for a day or two now". I told her that the pumps should not have been put into use if they were not functioning correctly. I went back out to my car crying. I called the number on the back of the card hoping to speak with someone who could help me fix the card situation. The lady that answered the phone was in Mexico. She said so herself The phone rep also told me to "calm down" because her "English was not very good" and that she did not understand me.
I had to respell my first name at least half a dozen times. The phone rep still was not getting the spelling. The phone rep told me that since I was still at the location I should have gone back in the store and had the assistant manager call your Tech Support department.
I told the phone rep that I did not feel comfortable going back in the store because of the Covid pandemic. The store had several customers inside by then. So,l I started to cry again. She had no right to talk to me that way.
I am a paying customer and should be treated with respect. Instead of continuing to cry, I just hung up after several minutes on the phone trying to deal with the phone rep and her poor English comprehension skills.I love my Keurig coffee maker and the convenience of making one cup of coffee at a time. The thing about K-cups is that they can be expensive especially hard to find flavors and not every coffee company makes them.
I knew there had to be a cheaper way to make my own K cups versus buying the separate refillable K-Cup. After a few test runs, here is how I refill my used k-cups using regular ground coffee Plus, this method is almost completely free! Remove and discard the lid of a used k-cup; gently rinse out and dry completely—this is very important unless you are going to refill the k-cup right away. Store used cups in a gallon Ziploc bag.
Fill the K-cup to the top with the ground coffee of your choice. I am using Community Coffee Carnivale Cake — yum!
Cut heavy duty tin foil or regular tin foil folded in half into a circle. It should be slightly larger than the opening of the k-cup.
Place foil on top of k-cup and tuck into edges. As you cut more and more of these circles, you will get better at judging the size. Since this K-cup was previously used, you will need to take note of the hole on the bottom.
To match up, insert the K-cup and turn clockwise until it is inserted correctly. Pour water into your Keurig unit and brew. You will have a perfect cup of coffee using your own grounds and a used K-cup. I personally only refill each K-cup one time after its first use. I have heard you can reuse the k-cups many times if you take good care of the filter.
Did you love it? Neat — I have a couple of commercially made products that allow me to use my own ground coffee in my keurig — I like being able to use my own Starbucks coffee. One thing to note about using things this way though is that it will void your warranty if your machine breaks — so I started using them after my warranty was up.
Purchased at Joan Fabrics of hobby Lobby. I then put the strips in the hole punch. They fit perfectly over the K cups. THe Hvy Duty foil holds up better than the thinner foil.
